THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Sciences Administration (Pagasa) and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) confirmed that Cebu City was hit by haze in the past days.

Alfredo Quiblat Jr., officer-in-charge of Pagasa Mactan, said that based on their hourly routine observation, haze was visible west of Cebu City from their location.

However, Quilbat said its intensity was not significant to reduce visibility. So it was a non-reportable atmospheric parameter to record, he said.
