Mactan - Cebu International Airport is one with the nation in helping our "kababayan" that was devastated by the typhoon Ondoy. September 26, 2009 when this natural calamity occured in the country and was mostly experienced in Luzon area that left thousands of our Filipino people homeless and helpless. We were lucky enough that we were not able to experience the same disturbance as what Luzon are experienced.
We are extending our helping hands to the affected people. That's why on September 27, 2009, MCIA encouraged all its employees by means of bringing clothes, canned goods and anything that can be of help to our affected "kababayan". We hope and pray that we were able to bring hope and joy their heart through this small deed.
